Alternative Dispute Resolution, known in Romania as SAL, is a procedure through which consumers may attempt to resolve a dispute with a merchant amicably, without going directly to court.

3. Online Dispute Resolution / Consumer Redress in the EU

For online commerce, consumers may consult the information provided by the European Commission regarding consumer redress and dispute resolution mechanisms at EU level.
